Privacy Policy

Packwise (“the app”) is provided by Brahmweb (“we”). This policy explains what information the app collects when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store, and how that information is used.

Information we collect

• Store information: your shop domain and the access token Shopify issues when you install the app, used to run the app on your store.
• Deal settings: the bundle deals and storefront settings you create, including the products and collections they apply to.
• Anonymous storefront events: when a deal is viewed, selected or added to cart, we record the deal and the event type. These events contain no personal information about shoppers.
• Order totals: for orders that include a Packwise deal, we record the order ID, units and revenue attributed to that deal, to show you analytics. We do not store customer names, emails, addresses or payment details.

How we use information

Only to provide the app: showing your deals on your storefront, applying discounts at checkout through Shopify, and showing you deal analytics. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Data storage and sharing

Data is stored on servers operated by our hosting provider and is shared only with Shopify, as required to run the app. Shoppers may store small preferences in their own browser (for example, a countdown timer start time).

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, Shopify removes its discounts and theme embed. Within 48 hours of uninstalling, Shopify asks us to delete your store’s data, and we delete your deals, settings, events and order totals. We respond to customer data requests and deletion requests sent through Shopify’s privacy webhooks.
