Getting started

1. Install Packwise from the Shopify App Store and open it from your admin.
2. Click Enable app embed on the Packwise home page. The theme editor opens with Packwise switched on; click Save.
3. Click Create bundle deal, pick a template, choose the products it applies to and click Publish.
4. Open one of those products on your store. The deal appears above the Add to cart button.

Deal types

• Quantity breaks: Buy 1, Buy 2 & Save, Buy 3 & Save More. Each tier can be a percentage off, an amount off, or a fixed total price.
• Buy X, get Y: for example buy 2, get 1 free. The cheapest items are the free ones.
• Product bundle: several different products sold together at a bundle discount. It shows on the page of every product in the bundle.
• Mix & match: any products from your chosen products or collections count towards the tier. Shoppers can swap each item with the Change button.
• Free gift tiers: add a free gift and/or free shipping to any tier. Higher tiers keep the rewards of lower tiers. Show them inside each option or as “Unlock free gifts” cards.

Extras on every deal

• Add-on upsells: one-tick add-ons, optionally discounted when bought with the deal.
• Countdown timer: restarts for each visitor, or ends on a fixed date.
• Scratch card: hide a tier behind a scratch-off card that reveals with confetti.
• A/B test: turn on A/B for two deals on the same products; visitors are split between them. Compare them in Analytics.
• Design: layout, colours, badges, savings as % or amount, product images, variant pickers.

Where the deal appears

With the app embed on, Packwise places deals above the Add to cart button automatically. To choose the exact position, add the Bundle offers block to your product template in the theme editor, or enter a CSS selector under Widget settings → Placement.

When several deals match a product, the one with the highest priority shows (set under Active dates & advanced in the deal editor).

Add to cart, Buy it now and checkout

• Simple selections use your theme’s own Add to cart, so your cart drawer opens as usual.
• Gifts, add-ons, bundles and mixed variants are added by Packwise, which then opens your cart drawer or the cart page (Widget settings → After adding to cart).
• Packwise replaces Buy it now on deal pages with a version that sends the whole deal to checkout. You can hide it or keep the theme’s button instead.
• Discounts are applied by Shopify at checkout and recalculated from the real cart, so changing quantities in the cart updates the tier automatically.

Troubleshooting

• The deal doesn’t show. Check the app embed is on (Packwise home shows “Storefront widget: Active”), the deal is published and its dates are current, and the product is included in the deal.
• The discount isn’t applied at checkout. Check the deal is published, and under “Can combine with” allow the other discounts your store runs at the same time.
• The theme’s quantity box is still visible. Turn on “Hide theme quantity selector” in Widget settings.
• Something looks off on your theme. Email us your store address and a screenshot; we’ll adjust the styling for your theme.
